CostaTierra Teak Plantations S.A. is a Costa Rican company, whose shares belong to two German businessmen who also act as managers. Starting in 2005, we have acquired over 600 hectares of former cattle farms in Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica's best teak farming region, and replanted the clearings. Today we have 380 hectares of land for sale, of which about 180 are planted with teak. Besides, we manage almost all our clients' Fincas from purchase to harvest. The CostaTierra main office is in Escazu, near San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, allowing for quick access to relevant forest authorities, the central property registry and lawyers.
